Symposium Outline

The Symposium on 'Turbulent Mixing in Plasmas' is invited by the Division of Plasma Physics (DPP) of the Association of Asia Pacific Physical Societies (AAPPS), to be  held at the 2021 AAPPS DPP International Conference online.

Turbulent mixing plays an important role in plasmas, at high energy density and low energy density condition, and at astrophysical and at atomic scales. Examples include unstable plasmas in the inertial confinement fusion, thermonuclear flashes in supernovae, and coronal mass ejections in the Solar flares. The Symposium builds on recent advances turbulent mixing in plasmas, in theory, simulations and experiments, including the fundamental aspects and the applications in nature and technology.

Welcome.
