Symposium Outline

The Symposium on 'Physics of Matter and Hydro Processes in High Energy Density Plasmas' is invited by the Division of Plasma Physics (DPP) of the Association of Asia Pacific Physical Societies (AAPPS), to be  held at the 2025 AAPPS DPP International Conference.

High energy density plasmas and their far from equilibrium dynamics are omnipresent in nature and technology, at astrophysical and at atomic scales. Examples include plasma instabilities in the inertial confinement fusion, thermonuclear flashes in supernovae, coronal mass ejections in the Solar flares, and efficiency of plasma thrusters. The Symposium builds on significant advances achieved in understanding the attributes of matter and the physics of hydro processes in high energy density plasmas, including the fundamental aspects and the applications in nature and technology, and in theory, experiments, simulations, and data science.

Welcome.
