In my view - Leadership is to:
do the right things, do the right things right, and create opportunities, enable growth, and produce results.

My leadership in research is enabled by:
- the focus on challenging and paradigm shifting problems in science and mathematics;
- the development of physically significant and mathematically rigorous theoretical approaches;
- the close linkage to experiments, simulations and data science;
- the discoveries of fundamental properties of interface dynamics and interfacial mixing
that solve these long-standing problems and chart perspectives for the future.

My leadership in the community is revealed by:
- founding the scientific program with the stellar record of discoveries;
- organizing the national and international conferences to enable interdisciplinary research;
- coordinating research communities in academy, national laboratories, industry, corporations;
- systematically conducting the editorial work, in top journals with lead publishers;
- enthusiastically serving the committees and the professional societies.

My leadership in education is demonstrated by:
- mentoring and training specialists and students with various levels of expertise and skills;
- accommodating diverse cultural and educational backgrounds of the trainees;
- developing integrated curricula for graduate education and for professionals;
- advancing undergraduate curricula;
- providing stellar teaching in national and international environments.

My approach to organization and management is based on:
- achieving balances of interests and approaches;
- focusing on positive attitude, capacity building, strong outputs;
- productive interacting with the community members enabling them to achieve their best;
- efficient communicating with the administrations and officials, locally and globally;
- developing long-lasting collaborative environments, nationally and internationally.
